Game description
Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut is an exclusive, upcoming remaster of the original Playstation 4 game Ghost of Tsushima, developed by Sony’s studio Sucker Punch Productions. Available exclusively on Playstation Plus, it follows the journey of Jin Sakai, a Samurai warrior during the first Mongol invasion of Japan in 1274. Players will have to master the way of the Samurai to fight back the Mongol Empire and protect Tsushima Island.
The remaster will be available for all Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 devices. It will feature additional content including an expanded story, additional combat mechanics, and graphical updates. Players can slash their way through brand new battles and areas presented as a ghost samurai story narrated by Akira Kurosawa, Push notifications, whilst enjoying improved the environments and visuals powered by the game’s new engine.
Other add-ons include a new Ghost Mode, which allows players to fight the Mongols independently using special tactics. Agility is rewarded, as particular attention and skill is needed to overthrow enemies and successfully capture their fortresses. Last but not least, the new Private Theatre mode allows users to watch cut-scenes of the game.
